Two of our favorite annual events, the Festival of Lights and Booster-thon are still happening this year! Please see details and dates at the end of this article, and mark your calendars so your children are able to participate in the fun we have planned.

If you are new to the Charles Ellis Family, our Festival of Lights is traditionally an all-school gathering and sing-along to honor winter and celebrations from around the globe. This year the event will have a virtual twist . . . of course.
Booster-thon is Charles Ellis' most exciting and largest fundraiser. It is sponsored by the PTA. Every child has the opportunity to participate, and all receive a tee-shirt (prized spirit gear that can be worn to school on Fridays). Typically the children gather at Daffin Park for a celebratory fun run finale. There's music, cheering, and all the excitement that comes along with a great big outdoor hurrah! This year's event will be virtual, but we know the Booster-thon crew will bring the excitement and energy as they always do!
Mark your calendar for these key dates
December 12-13 (noon -2pm): Booster-thon tee-shirt pick up and virtual Festival of Light info pick up (school sidewalk) PLUS ice pops for all kids for meeting last year’s Booster-thon pledge goal!
December 17 (6:30 pm): Virtual Festival of Lights and sing-along (Zoom) and Booster-thon pledge opening
January 8: Booster-thon Kick-off
January 20: new Booster-thon date (details of our virtual event will be provided later)
